Jada Pinkett Smith Responds To August Alsina

Jada Pinkett Smith finally responded to the claims of August Alsina. She teased that she will be addressing the claims of August Alsina in an upcoming episode of her Facebook Watch, The Red Table Talk.

Jada took to Twitter yesterday and wrote that there is some healing that needs to happen. She continued saying she will be coming to the Red Table Talk.

The Red Table Talk has been a platform to have open conversations about everything. Topics like motherhood, relationships, addiction, racism, and sex are discussed in this platform. Jada, her daughter, Willow, and her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, talk about these issues or topics candidly on The Red Table Talk.

The web series had several guests who opened up about the things they don’t usually talk about. Actors like Gabrielle Union, Leah Remini, Kid Cudi, Jordyn Woods, Demi Moore, and Jada’s husband, Will Smith have all made their appearance in the online show.

On June 30, August Alsina made claims that he had a long-term affair with Jada Pinkett Smith, with the blessing of her husband, Will Smith. Her rep denied the allegation claiming it was ‘absolutely not true’. Meanwhile, Will Smith has denied the claims August Alsina made about ‘having his blessing’ to be with Jada. Will’s representative claimed the reports as false and ‘wrong’.

August Alsina claimed to have told The Breakfast Club’s, Angela Yee. August claimed to be in love with Jada Pinkett Smith, 48. He claims to have sat down with Will Smith and had a conversation due to the transformation of their marriage to a life partnership. August said Will Smith gave him his blessing.

Reportedly, it was Jada and Will’s son Jada who introduced August to Jada Pinkett Smith in 2015. August claimed that both he and Jada became very close and spent a vacation together. He also said they attended the BET Awards together in 2017.

August said he gave himself completely in the relationship for years. And he has a ton of love for Jada. He claimed, ‘I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it, so much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody. 

Jada and Will have been married since 1997. They met at the auditions of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Jada auditioned to play Will’s girlfriend in the comedy series. They have two kids together, Jaden, 22, and Willow, 19. Will Smith shares a son Trey, 27, from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino.

August Alsina is currently promoting his upcoming album The Product III:stateofEMERGEncy. He also has a YouTube documentary lined up called StateofEMERGEncy: The Rise of August Alsina. August had denied previous claims of having an affair in 2019. The claims came after his track ‘Nunya’ came out.

Jada Pinkett Smith has several times denied when asked if Will and she have an open relationship. She also claimed that they will never get a divorce. In 2018, in an interview with Sway’s Universe radio show, she said to keep the divorce rumors coming. Explaining her statement Jada said that Will and she are a family and divorce is never going to happen.

Jada went on saying that people can take out all the relationship or marriage crap on them but she is always going to hold him down. She assured that despite all the ideas of a husband or a partner, at the end of the day, Will can rely on her.

‘All that relationship and what people think ideas of a husband, partner, and all that, man, whatever. At the end of the day, that is a man that can rely on me for the rest of his life, period,’ she said.

In a Facebook post, later on, Jada clarified that her statement ‘Will can do whatever he wants’ has raised questions. She said there is a need to discuss the co-existence of trust and love in their relationship. Jada rectified her previous statement saying ‘Will and I BOTH can do WHATEVER we want’. She explains saying they trust each other to do so.
