Jojo Siwa seemingly shared some personal information with her fans on Friday. She is living her truth as she took to her social media and shared a photo of herself.
The YouTube personality wore a shirt that read, “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever”. She thanked her cousin for gifting her the statement tee. She was also retweeting and liking posts from both fans and celebrities who were praising her for being a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
Todrick Hall expressed how he has never been more proud of Jojo and said how happy he is for her. He further wrote, “Happy for you and happy for how you’re going to change the world. Children need to see this!” The Youtube star also retweeted another message from a fan.
The fan wrote, “If you don’t think Jojo Siwa coming out as gay is a big deal; just remember that there are lgbt kids that watch her videos that may have felt so alone with their identity and seeing the person they look up to coming out makes them feel safer and more comfortable with themselves”
Not only fans and followers but immense support was poured in Jojo’s way by Lil Nas X, Paris Hilton, Tana Mongeau, Colleen Ballinger, and others. The photo posted by the Youtube star comes after she first appeared in some LGBTQ positive TikToks. It also included a video featuring Kent Boyd, Mollee Gray, Garrett Clayton, and Jeka Jane.
“On the relationship side of things, it’s more just like a fun thing”
They are a part of TikTok’s Pride House and were dancing to Paramore’s Ain’t It Fun. “Now your [sic] one of us!! @itsjojosiwa @molleegray @garrettclayton91 @jekajane #pridehousela,” Boyd captioned the video.
Jojo later shared a video of herself proudly singing along to Lady Gaga’s LGBTQ anthem, Born This Way. She also shared a picture of herself on Instagram with the caption, “You make me HAPPPPPPPYYYYYYY!!!” she had recently talked about her single life as she said she is as “single as a pringle”.
The youtube star shared that dating was not her priority but she is not opposed to it if it came along as well. She explained how her life is figured out and her career is shining as well. “My life is so figured out…My career is so like, ‘Boom, this is what’s happening,’ and I just have to keep running forward on that track. And so for me, on the relationship side of things, it’s more just like a fun thing,” she said.
Jojo said it will be great if it comes around but it would still be great if it does not. She shared that she has so much with what she is doing right now that if anyone who wants to join her is welcome.
As for what she wants in a partner, Siwa shared, “In a couple of words: Nice, cares about me, and is there for me through thick and thin…What’s most important to me is just somebody who genuinely, really, truly cares about me.”
However, we will know when Jojo herself tells us. Either way we love a queen.
