Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home, appears in images that are sure to excite all Spider-Man fans. There are still rumors that Holland and Garfield may appear together on screen in the upcoming film No Way Home.

Doc Ock, The Lizard, Electro, Green Goblin, and The Sandman, among others, have already been confirmed to return in the upcoming MCU Spider-Man.

Fans are naturally curious if Holland’s Spider-Man would be joined by one of Peter Parker’s prior big-screen avatars, given how much multiverse chaos has already been unleashed in the picture. For months, fans have been speculating about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield joining Holland in the ultimate Spider-Man team-up. Garfield, for one, continues to deny that he is involved in the events of No Way Home.

The film’s most recent trailer, which was published a few days ago, provided no satisfaction, as it showed no signs of Maguire or Holland (albeit it did show more of the film’s impressive array of multi-verse bad guys).

Speculation over whether or not Garfield and Maguire will appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home will undoubtedly continue until the film’s premiere when answers will finally be provided. If fans don’t get to see Garfield and Holland together in the new Spider-Man film, they may at least enjoy these recent photos of the two stars shot at the GQ Man of the Year event, when the actors showed their love for each other in a sweet way.

Because they both played Peter Parker, Garfield and Holland are obviously intimately connected in cinematic history. That unusual shared experience is perhaps one of the reasons they appear so friendly in the photos.

However, it’s also possible that they like each other because they worked together in Spider-Man: No Way Home and have a close professional connection. Indeed, the photographs almost read like a clever bit of implication, as if the two actors were secretly communicating to fans that they do indeed share the screen in No Way Home.
