I am lucky that I got to play three roles in my first Gujarati film, says Khushi Shah on the success of Affraa Taffri

Khushi Shah who took the audiences by surprise with three different avatars in her debut Gujarati film Affraa Taffri, shares that how she was lucky enough to play Sonal, Jwala and the spirited ghost in the film.

Touted as Gujarati industries first ever horror comedy, Affraa Taffri is garnering immense praises from accross the nation. The film has been witnessing positive word of mouth and is doing well at the box office.

An Elated Khushi Shah shares, “It was a fantastic experience and I am lucky that I got to play three roles in my first Gujarati film. Personally, I love the horror genre and I am glad to do a horror comedy, which is pretty new for Gujarati cinema. It’s a tough genre to execute, and it’s not easy to be appreciated by the Gujarati audience, which mostly prefers watching comedies”.

She further adds, “Initially, I was hesitant to take it up because I didn’t know if I could do justice to playing a lead role. But the film’s director was sure about casting me”.

The actress too has been receiving immense love and appreciation from the masses, a testimony of which is seen on her social media where netizens are flooding the internet with praises for Khushi and her three different characters.

The actress is currently enjoying the success of the film and will be soon resume shooting of her upcoming next.
