‘I am and will always be the Sexiest Man Alive,’ says Dwayne Johnson
Dwayne Johnson was named People magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ in 2016, and despite the title being passed on to Blake Shelton, Idris Elba, John Legend, and Michael B. Jordan since then, he believes it’s not an honor he’ll ever give up.
He claimed on ‘People (The TV Show!)’ that: “I am and always will be the Sexiest Man Alive. Listen, my title of Sexiest Man Alive is unbreakable. It’s for the rest of your life. Right? I’m not going to give up.”
Despite the fact that the journal will name the Sexiest Man Alive for 2021 later this month, the ‘Moana’ star stated it doesn’t matter who is chosen, according to femalefirst.co.uk.
“That means whoever you put on the cover doesn’t matter because I’ll always be the Sexiest Man Alive,” he explained.
Ryan Reynolds, Johnson’s ‘Red Notice’ co-star, has previously held the title, but the former wrestler declined to identify who he believed was the “sexier” celebrity.
He stated, ” “I mean, isn’t it true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder? And it’s all interpretive in nature. It’s as if you read the Bible in different ways for different verses.”
Johnson, who daughters Simone, 20, with ex-wife Dany Garcia and Jasmine, five, and Tiana, three, with wife Lauren Hashian, joked that when he was named Sexiest Man Alive, he had “hit the peak.”
Fans found his “sense of humor” sexy, according to the ‘Jumanji’ star.
