HRX and Angel Express Foundation, Priya Banerjee and Shivaleeka Oberoi facilitate Super20 women on Women’s Day 2020

Women’s Day 2020 is around the corner, and to celebrate the inspiring role of women around the world to secure women’s rights and building more equitable societies, HRX organized a special event recognizing the ‘Super 20’ women of Angel Express Foundation, an NGO working for the betterment of school going children from slums.

Held on 28th February, the activity was organized at a Cult fitness centre in Mumbai, and noted actors like Priya Banerjee and Shivaleeka Oberoi graced the event. The super 20 women various fitness workshops like dance fitness, boxing and had an informal chit chat with the celebrities on tips to stay fit while juggling busy schedules, diet etc.

Speaking on the event, Priya said, “Fitness is one of my favourite things to do, it is something I look forward to in a day through my cardio, weight training whatever it is. The fact that we are actually promoting it and telling women to be fit and strong, I think it’s a great initiative and I had a great time today.

Shivaleeka Oberoi added, “The overall experience was inspiring. Mental fitness is as important as physical fitness, and the women I met today do exactly that by educating children which is amazing. I’ve come back home motivated and I’m glad that I tried something new. I don’t stick to a fitness routine so this is something new that I tried and it really worked out well. It targets entire body as opposed to a particular body part. I was really amazing and super positive.”
