Here’s what Saif Ali Khan told Sara Ali Khan after Love Aaj Kal tanked at the box-office
Young actress Sara Ali Khan was last seen in the film Love Aaj Kal which had turned out to be a flop at the box-office!
Newbie Sara Ali Khan has been winning hearts since the time she appeared on Koffee With Karan. She was even more adored after she appeared in her films Kedarnath and Simmba. However, her last release Love Aaj Kal didn’t do very well at the box-office.
Starring Kartik Aaryan alongside the actress, the film had tanked. Talking about the same, Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan told Film Companion, “I did message her and ask if she’s alright. Of course, it’s a romantic and nice fatherly notion (to hold your daughter’s hand through hardships), but I don’t think it’s really needed. I think she’s quite tough and smart and she gets it. And I told her, ‘you have to go through this’.”
Saif is someone who has seen both success and failures in his Bollywood career. When asked as to why his daughter would have chosen the film, he said, “You must have liked something, you might have liked someone; the director or the producer. Not much has to go wrong for it to go wrong… You have to keep working through it.”
Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan is going to be a part of the upcoming films Coolie No. 1 and Atrangi Re.
