Here’s what Ranveer Singh replied when his dad asked him about the money he spent on flowers for Deepika Padukone

Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had dated each other for seven long years before finally getting married in 2018!

Ranveer Singh has always been very vocal about how much he loves Deepika Padukone. Even when the two of them were dating, the actor used to shower compliments on the actress.

Now in a recent Live interaction with Sunil Chhetri, Ranveer talked about how tried to woo her. He said, “I was very sure that I wanted to marry this girl in six months of being in a relationship with her. I knew she loves flowers, lilies in particular and I wanted her to be mine for life. I was very diligent in wooing her. So, every time she would come, there would be flowers. I would also make short trips if she was shooting somewhere else.”

The actor also recalled an incident when his father asked him about all those flowers. “I remember my father once turned around and said, ‘do you realise how much money you are spending on flowers?’ and I replied, ‘Lakshmi ke avatar me chappar faad ke aayenge (she’ll be an avatar of Goddess Lakshmi for us).’ I used to feel that she is way away from my league. So, I did everything during the courting period.”

Ranveer-Deepika has always been couple goals for us. They are currently staying together in this lockdown and making the most of their time.
