Here’s how Kristen Stewart Reacts To Guy Fieri Offering To Officiate Her Wedding

Guy Fieri, a well-known television restaurateur, has agreed to officiate Kristen Stewart’s impending wedding. After two years together, the Twilight star proposed to her girlfriend, Dylan Meyer. Stewart had apparently been planning to ask Meyer to marry her for approximately a year before she finally did.

Stewart said the couple planned to have a “low-key” wedding when they first announced their engagement earlier this week. Initially, the couple had not planned to have an officiant at their wedding, instead of wanting to be the only ones there. However, Stewart went on to say that having television star Fieri officiate the wedding was an appealing choice.

This idea got much more serious when the hosts of the Today Show announced to Stewart during an interview (through Guy Fieri on Twitter) that they had chosen to ask Fieri about officiating her wedding on her behalf. Stewart was subsequently shocked with a video created by Fieri, in which he revealed that he had heard she was searching for a “sweet, spiky-haired officiant” for her wedding and that he was “all in” for officiating the actress’ wedding. Stewart was thrilled to get the video message, and when asked if she wanted Fieri to be a part of her wedding, she said, “absolutely.”

On Twitter, Fieri posted a video of Stewart reacting to his offer, writing, “Oh that offer is legit!” Fieri is no stranger to the role of a wedding officiant. After same-sex marriage became legal in Florida earlier that year, the Food Network star presided over a mass wedding of 101 same-sex couples in Miami in 2015. This could have been the conduct that prompted Stewart to suggest Fieri for the job in the first place.
