Hellbound, Netflix’s original Korean drama series, has officially surpassed all other shows on the streaming service as the most-watched show of the week.

Hellbound raked up a total of over 43 million “hours viewed” on Netflix in its first three days of release; according to Netflix’s newly published Top 10 TV series and movies for the week of November. On November 19, the K-drama series premiered.

Hellbound has surpassed previous popular releases such as Squid Game (30 million); the League Of Legends animated series Arcane (38 million); and the second season of Tiger King to become the most-watched TV series in both the English and non-English Top 10 lists (30million).

For the second week in a row, the action-comedy blockbuster Red Notice, starring Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot; stands at the top of the most-watched movies list. Last week, Netflix debuted its official most-watched lists; which included a new category called “hours viewed”. Users can switch between weekly Global Top 10 lists by films and series, with an English-language and non-English category for each format; on the new website. Users can also examine Top 10 lists based on certain countries.

“Figuring out how best to measure success in streaming is hard, and there’s no one perfect metric,” Netflix VP Pablo Perez De Rosso said of the lists, according to Time. “Having looked at the different options, we believe engagement, as measured by hours viewed, is a strong indicator of a title’s popularity, as well as overall member satisfaction, which is important for retention in subscription services.”

In other K-drama news, the upcoming BTS Universe serial Youth is said to have concluded production. Chorokbaem Media, the production firm, said in a statement that the K-drama is currently in post-production to increase the “quality” of the series.

Squid Game, which debuted on September 19, held the top spot for 46 days in a row. In October, an estimated 142 million homes in 94 countries watched the series; which is infamous for its extreme brutality and gore. Netflix has profited an estimated $900 million from it.

Hellbound dethroned Squid Game as the most-watched TV show on the platform; another Netflix South Korean fantasy horror series has become an overnight global sensation.
