Harry Styles Shares His Thoughts On Taylor Swift Writing Songs About Him

In a resurfaced interview with Howard Stern, Harry Styles has opened up about his thoughts on the songs ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift penned down.

The singer shared his views on Taylor making songs about him and their breakup. Taylor and Harry were dating each other back in 2012. The relationship did not last for a long time but however, it has been an inspiration for both the artists to be making songs about it.

Swifties have always been on top of the game when it comes to identifying easter eggs in any Taylor Swift song. They anticipated that Taylor’s 2015 hit Style and 2016 single Out Of The Woods were both about her high-profile relationship with Harry.

An interview that resurfaced from 2012 shows Harry Styles addressing the rumors about Taylor penning down their relationship into her songs. The One Direction alum said he thinks about what it means to include a person in his song or to be included by another person, is flattering.

He continued and said even if the song is not that great, a singer spends time on it. Harry used Taylor as an example and said he thinks she is a great songwriter. He also says, “So at least they’re good songs.”

However, Harry says he would be upset if one of his ex-girlfriends bad mouthed him in a song. He said: “The only time you really think, ’is this song too personal?’ is if you think about, ‘is this going to be really annoying for the other person?’ Because I do [care].”

Taylor’s Songs About Joe

The singer is allegedly single after breaking up with model Camille Rowe in 2018. Taylor is dating Joe Alwyn since 2016 and also is rumored to have made few songs about him. It is not the first time Taylor has incorporated her relationships into her songs.

Swifties have speculated that her 2019 songs Lover and London Boy, are about her current beau, Joe. Fans have also speculated that Taylor has co-written some of the songs in her current hit album, Folklore, with Joe.

The singer surprised her fans claiming she will be releasing her new album at midnight. She took to Instagram and said a lot of things that she did plan did not happen and things she did not plan did happen.

Taylor explained that the thing that did happen is her eighth studio album, Folklore. She wrote “Surprise!” and announced she will be releasing the album at midnight. The singer explained that she has put all her whims, dreams, fears, and musings into the album.

And after she announced this, her fans will obviously go for a search to find clues about the album. We can count on Swifties when we need information about Taylor or her albums. With a little bit of research, some fans claimed that Joe will be a part of this album in a unique way.

Is William Bowery, Taylor’s Boyfriend, Joe Alwyn?

The claims started from Taylor talking about the team who helped her make the music. “I wrote and recorded this music in isolation but got to collaborate with some musical heroes of mine; @aarondessner (who has co-written or produced 11 of the 16 songs), @boniver (who co-wrote and was kind enough to sing on one with me); William Bowery (who co-wrote two with me) and @jackantonoff (who is basically musical family at this point),” she shared online.

Fans immediately started to speculate that William Bowery is actually Joe Alwyn. He did not have an Instagram account which sort of convinced fans. A fan site was quick to notice that Taylor and Joe had their first met in Hotel Bowery in New York.
