Harry Styles saved this year yet again by releasing his new music video for his song, Golden. It looks like a European dream as he released his fourth music video from his latest album, Fine Line.
The dreamy music video starts off with Harry singing as he runs an empty tunnel and countryside road. The singer is seen driving a vintage car as he swims in a pool.
Harry dons a turquoise blazer and patterned collar shirt paired with bell-bottom pants in few shots. The singer also appears in tan shorts and a white top. However, he eventually is seen shirtless as he poses in front of a colorful body of water.
Golden is the first song of the singer’s album, Fine Line, and also his fourth music video. He had released a video for Watermelon Sugar back in May. The track was covered by Kelly Clarkson this month on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
The lyrics for the new song signals that the singer does not want to be alone. In a recent interview with AP Entertainment, Harry had revealed how Golden was one of the first songs and how it has been a source of joy for him. He shared, “And I wanted to make a video that encapsulated that. I’d like to think it will maybe cheer a couple of people up. Cheered me up.”
Harry And Lily Might Be Starring Together
Amazon Studios recently had closed a deal with Berlanti Schechter Productions to produce an untitled pic based on the acclaimed novel My Policeman. But here’s the catch, it might include Harry Styles with Lily James.
This unveils the love triangle between these three characters in Brighton, England in the 1950s, when homosexuality was still illegal. Although Tom and Marion married each other during this time, Tom and Patrick were actually in love with one another.
Lily can be seen in the upcoming Netflix drama, Rebecca opposite Armie Hammer and Kristin Scott Thomas. She is also a part of the Netflix movie, The Dig, which is currently in post-production. The actress is also working on the limited series The Pursuit of Love, which is also at Amazon.
As for Harry, he recently signed New Line thriller Don’t Worry Darling, which also stars Florence Pugh. My Policeman will be his second movie. The singer had appeared in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk, before committing to these two projects.
A third fan gushed, “Harry styles and Lily James being in a movie together is my entire sexuality”. Harry has made his mark on the music industry and just like him, Lily has also had an impressive reputation. She starred in Downton Abbey as Lady Rose MacClare between 2012-2015.
Harry’s fans were all over the place when they heard the news. Their excitement did not just contain to Harry signing another movie, but also to be starred alongside Lily. “WHAT THE HECK WAIT HARRY IS GOING TO BE IN ANOTHER MOVIE NOW WITH LILY JAMES- ACTOR HARRY IS REALLY COMING HARD,” one fan shout-tweeted. Another fan asked people to imagine the power of having Harry and Lily on the screen.
Harry Postpones His World Tour Again
Harry Styles also announced he has postponed his world tour once again. The singer revealed via his social media account that all of his 2020 Love On Tour shows would be delayed.
The world tour has been postponed because of the ongoing global pandemic. Harry said he hopes that he will be able to perform on his 2021 dates. He said everybody’s health and safety is the top priority.
Harry tweeted: “Everyone’s health and safety remains our top priority, which is why I, unfortunately, have to postpone all 2020 shows in South America, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand until further notice.” The singer adds that he will continue to monitor the situation over the coming weeks and months.
Harry tells his fans that he cannot wait to see all of them as soon as it is safe to do so. The announcement to postpone his world tour comes after three months of postponing the North America leg of the tour. The singer had to postpone his tour, Love On Tour, back in June for the summer. It is supposed to kick off on August 14 and wrap on October 31, 2021, due to the ‘ongoing threat from Covid-19’.
However, during this time of isolation, the singer has shifted his focus to become a better ally for Black people. He has vowed to listen and educate himself on how he can help more in the fight for justice and equal rights. This comes after George Floyd’s death following the Black Lives Matter Movements and Protests around the world.
“We Are In A Moment Of Necessary Change In The World” -Harry
In a powerful statement shared with his social media at the time, Harry wrote: “This summer we were excited to be bringing Love On Tour to North America”. He continued that due to the Covid-19 threat, they have been forced to reschedule for the next summer of 2021.
Harry wrote, “The well-being of my crew and all the fans around the world will always hold top priority. I can’t wait to see you all out on the road, as soon as it’s safe to do so. We are in a moment of necessary change and growth in the world.
He continued, “I will be using this time to listen and to educate myself on how I can help more in the fight for justice and equal rights for all in the future. I hope that you will take the time to do the same. Treat people with kindness. I love you all. H (sic)”
Nick Grimshaw has sparked fury online by tweeting Harry to not come to Brazil. This comes after Harry had to postpone his tour in South America. The DJ did not specify coronavirus on his tweet which met with a lot of backlash from fans.
