Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton to Wed After Quarantine

Shelton, 43, and Stefani, 50, have managed to celebrate some milestones together during quarantine. Including the former No Doubt singer making her Grand Ole Opry debut by the country crooner’s side.

It’s been four years since The Voice judges Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani confirmed they were dating in December 2015.

Now, Us Weekly reports, the two are ready to marry each other. The coronavirus pandemic made them certain of it.

“COVID-19 has turned their world upside down, as it has with so many families. Gwen knows she is blessed and wants to have the wedding as soon as social distancing guidelines are lifted,” said the insider.

Gwen Stefani Blake Shelton Want Get Married After Pandemic 001

Blake loves the rumours

In fact, for quite some time now, rumors have been swirling that Gwen and Blake are already engaged. Maybe even possibly married. Why? Well, for starters, Blake told ET that he “loves” the rumors.

That non-denial aside though, in another ET interview from last summer, he did say their bond gets “stronger every day”. And that it’s pretty much a matter of when they will tie the knot. “Obviously, that’s gotta lead somewhere, but I promise you, we won’t break the news in any of the grocery store trash magazines.”

Stefani and Shelton are not yet engaged. Us previously reported that Stefani had been waiting to marry Shelton while seeking an annulment of her marriage to Gavin Rossdale.

While people do ask for an annulment after getting a divorce, it is unsure what her grounds will be.

Gwen and Gavin previously filed for divorce and cited ‘irreconcilable differences’. Irreconcilable differences does not constitute as grounds for an annulment.

But after going through the COVID-19 crisis with Shelton, Stefani’s stance softened.

“It has made her realize that waiting for the annulment at this point is just futile because it could take years for the church tribunal to issue the decision,” the source said.

“Gwen and Blake both believe the bond they share is stronger than anything they’ve ever experienced before,” the source told the outlet. “When they say their vows this time around, it’ll feel like the first time for both of them because they’ve never had this kind of soulmate synergy with anyone else.”

And while she’s finally ready to take the leap, she won’t be holding the ceremony until she can be surrounded by her family and friends.

‘Gwen wants to have a ceremony and reception with their family and friends. She didn’t wait this long to get married with family watching on Zoom.’

‘this weekend will be one big family party’- Insider

The beauty has been isolating in Oklahoma over the past few months with Blake, and her three sons.

‘Gwen has a ton of her family there. They have been quarantining with them. So this weekend will be one big family party,’ an insider reveals to Hollywood Life on Saturday.

‘Blake’s compound is right on the water [Lake Texoma] so they love going out on the boat. Blake has all the toys, ATVs, tons of fancy water guns, video games, it’s paradise for the kids — and the big kids [the adults] too.’

‘They’re living a quiet life in the country right now,’ an insider recently dished to Us Weekly.

‘They decided that separating themselves from city life was best for their family.’

They continued: ‘Right now, they feel blessed to have a home they can escape to during this difficult time … It is such a change of pace for everyone, and it’s truly helped to remind them of how important having family time can be.’

Blake and Gwen found love with each other in 2015. Following her split from Rossdale and the end of his marriage to Miranda Lambert.

Us reports that Shelton and Stefani will likely wed in Oklahoma, at Shelton’s ranch there. “There will be a few dozen of their closest friends and family, but Gwen doesn’t see the need for anything huge in terms of numbers,” a source said.

Shelton and Stefani’s relationship began during their time working as judges on Season 9 of “The Voice”.
