
For a Wrap Gift, John Cena and James Gunn received an epic Peacemaker Ring
Before the HBO Max’s Peacemaker Is A Hero Or A Villain, According To James Gunn series wrapped filming, James Gunn said that he and John Cena received matching rings as wrap gifts. Peacemaker will serve as a prequel to Gunn’s upcoming The Suicide Squad, which will be released on August 6th. It will explore the beginnings of Cena’s character, a pacifist who is so obsessed with peace that he is willing to use armed force to accomplish it.
Gunn began development on the series while filming The Suicide Squad, and he will helm five of the eight episodes of Peacemaker. The series began filming in January of current year in Canada and will broadcast on HBO Max in January 2022.
Peacemaker Ring
Peacemaker is likely to play a crucial role in The Suicide Squad, with the character gaining a lot of attention in promotional material, however it’s yet unclear how well he’ll get along with his super-villain team-mates, such as Harley Quinn played by Margot Robbie and Bloodsport played by Idris Elba. Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, and Jennifer Holland will all appear in the future series.
Peacemaker, real name Christopher Smith, debuted in 1966 as part of the Fightin’ 5 in Charlton Comics, prior to their acquisition by DC. The character would have a brief solo run at Charlton, and subsequent versions of the character have appeared in other DC Comics on a regular basis since then.

Peacemaker has been filming in Canada since January and is set to close in the coming days, with Gunn already paying respect to several of the series’ performers who have completed their roles.
The filmmaker shared a photo of the custom Peacemaker rings he and Cena received as gifts from stuntman Spencer Thomas, whom Gunn called as “the finest stunt dude in the world” on his Twitter account yesterday. Ossua et Acromata, a UK-based designer, created the rings, which include a skull embellished with Peacemaker’s distinctive helmet.

Apart from exploring the origins and motivations of the character, as well as functioning as a mirror to the world of superheroes while also exploring real-world issues, little is known about Peacemaker or how the series will fit into the larger DC Extended Universe.
The series’ production appears to be moving well, and Cena himself appears to be very enthusiastic about the project, having already given interviews while dressed as Peacemaker. Fans are hungry for more information on Peacemaker, and the excitement is genuine.
