Finneas Reveals Why Billie Eilish Ditched Her Green Hair

Unless you have been living under a rock, you would know that Billie Eilish has completely switched up her look. She has ditched her iconic green hair for a bright blonde. The singer provided no reason for her decision but her brother, Finneas as revealed the reason behind his sister’s decision.

The hitmaker debuted her new hair look a couple of weeks after her Grammy win. Finneas explained the decision as he said that hair is the easiest way to feel like one is evolving as a person. The songwriter shared,  “Whenever you change your hairstyle or dye it a different color you feel like you’re growing up a bit.”

As many fans thought that this signified the new era of Billie and her music as well, Finneas responded to the assumption. He agreed and shared that it took a long time and a lot of different sessions. The musician said, “They wanted to do it really healthy … I think it looks great.”

Fans would definitely know that Billie’s photo of her debuting her new hair became one of the most-liked picture in the history of the platform. Meanwhile, her brother debunked that it became this big thing because “the green roots were such a recognizable thing”. The singer revealed that whenever there is a point of change, people become excited and fixated.

However, he shared he thinks it’s deserving because it looks great. He was then asked if Billie was planning to maintain the hair until the release of her next album. The musician said, “You’d have to ask her.” Further Finneas shared that he can neither confirm nor deny that they were going to release new music soon.

Billie recently won the Grammy for Record of the Year for this year. She has won a total of seven Grammys at this moment. The singer won almost all the awards at the 2020 Grammys. She continued her winning streak this year as well and shared the spotlight with Megan Thee Stallion.

The hitmaker said in her acceptance speech that the breakout rapper deserves it. She said, “You deserve this. You had a year that I think is unstoppable. You are a queen… Genuinely, this goes to her.”
