Fan asks about Kabir Singh not getting recognition at award shows, here’s what Shahid Kapoor says!

While Shahid Kapoor starrer film was a success at the box-office, it did not get much appreciation at the award shows. And it might be because of the controversy that surrounded the film.

The actor recently had an Ask Me Anything session on Twitter where a fan asked him the same. The fan tweeted, “Do you feel disappointed that your Kabir Singh performance wasn’t appreciated by the awards ceremonies because of the controversy surrounding it?”

Shahid’s response is something that won everyone’s heart. He wrote, “On the contrary. I can’t be thankful enough for the love you all have it. I am because of you all.”

Kabir Singh was the Hindi remake of the film Arjun Reddy. And it had Shahid Kapoor along with Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The film got stuck in a controversy due to the alpha nature of the lead role played by Shahid.
