Ex-Girls’ Generation’s Jessica Jung Teases Her ComeBack
The former Girls’ Generation member, Jessica Jung recently shared a teaser for her upcoming single, Can’t Sleep.
The teaser sees a collection of beautiful clips from the 2014 reality show, Jessica & Krystal: As You Wish. Jessica can be seen with her sister, Krystal as both of them go on a road trip. The clip is soundtracked by an R&B instrumental with Jessica’s vocals.
We can see Krystal an awful lot in the teaser for Can’t Sleep, however; it is unclear if she will also be singing alongside Jessica. There is also no information about the track being accompanied; by a wider body of work from Jessica in the future.
Jessica’s comeback single, Can’t Sleep will release tomorrow (August 27) along with the music video at 6 pm KST. The single is a collaboration between Jessica’s agency, Coridel Entertainment and Municon. This comes after Jessica teased that her upcoming album is being made in full swing.
She shared the news via her personal YouTube channel and also added that she had been waiting for the right time. The record was delayed because of the difficulties caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
This will mark Jessica’s first release in two years since her collaboration with Korean rapper Giriboy on Call Me Before You Sleep. Jessica had previously dropped three mini-albums after her exit from Girls’ Generation and SM Entertainment back in 2014.
