Emma Stone and fiance Dave McCary have sparked marriage rumors. The actress is very private about her relationship with Dave. However, a recent accessory has sparked rumors of the couple jumping on the next milestone.
The couple announced their engagement back in December and now they were spotted wearing matching gold bands while out in Los Angeles earlier this month. Dave had posted a picture of Emma and him, announcing their engagement on his Instagram.
Emma was seen wearing the ring back in May in a virtual conversation with Reese Witherspoon. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the actress had exchanged her engagement ring for a simple gold band. The duo was having a conversation about mental health and the pandemic. She added to the speculation when fellow guest, Dr. Harold Koplewicz, talked about how anxiety can impact a marriage.
The psychiatrist joked that if she marries an anxious man, she would have to know him for the rest of her life. Emma responded, “Thankfully, I didn’t do that.”
Dave was also spotted wearing the gold band which might just indicate that the couple has tied the knot. The couple was out for an afternoon stroll, keeping things casual and comfortable.
The La La Land star wore a pair of oversized overalls, a crewneck sweatshirt, and Birkenstock sandals, while Dave, 35, wore a graphic T-shirt and black pants. Both Emma and Dave went undercover in baseball hats.
Emma has not yet commented on the rumors of their wedding. An entertainment portal had reported back in March that the couple has decided to postpone their wedding because of the global pandemic.
‘I Really Want To Get Married And Have Kids’
The couple was first linked back in June 2017 after being seen together numerous times. The couple was seen sharing a table with Taylor Swift and her beau, Joe Alwyn, during the 2019 Golden Globes afterparty. An eyewitness had reported that Emma and Dave seemed super touchy-feely and affectionate. This encouraged the other couple to be more comfortable as well.
The eyewitness said, “It seemed like a very fun and light-hearted date night.” Emma has never been open about her private life previously, however, she could be focused on taking an even bigger step in her relationship with McCary. In 2018, she talked a little bit about her dreams when she was with her pal Jennifer Lawrence for Elle.
The actress said her view of marriage and having babies has evolved. “My perspective about kids has changed as I’ve gotten older,” she said. “I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, ‘I’m never getting married, I’m never having kids.’ And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.”
