Emirates proclaims order for 50 Airbus A350 jets

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Emirates has ordered 50 Airbus A350 jets, the Dubai state-owned airline introduced on the Dubai Air Present on Monday.

The order’s checklist worth sits at $16 billion, however a steep low cost is usually negotiated by airways.

Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury informed a press convention that the European multinational planemaker’s flagship A380 would now have a “youthful however very proficient brother within the Emirates household.”

The A350 is a household of long-range, twin-engine wide-body jet airliners, whereas the A380 is the world’s largest passenger airliner. The 50 jets ordered by Emirates are its cornerstone A350-900 selection, accommodating between 300 and 350 passengers.
