Emilia Clarke Is Afraid To Talk About Marvel’s Hidden Invasion
Emilia Clarke is afraid to speak about Secret Invasion for fear of damaging Marvel Studios’ security. With the first wave of Disney+ original shows in Phase 4, the Marvel Cinematic Universe officially expanded to the small screen. Marvel Studios is currently working on over a dozen known shows, and these titles will continue to be a big part of what they do in the future. Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) are scheduled to star in a loose version of the legendary Secret Invasion crossover event.
In addition to Jackson and Mendelsohn, Marvel has put together a fantastic cast for Secret Invasion. Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, and Carmen Ejogo are said to be among the cast members. There are almost no details about who these actors and actresses play in Secret Invasion in almost every case.
The highly anticipated Disney+ series is being kept a secret by Marvel Studios, as has become typical for projects based on the world’s most popular entertainment franchise. Emilia Clarke has been hesitant to speak about the show due of the secrecy.
Secret Invasion
Emilia Clarke’s anxiety when discussing Secret Invasion is typical of how most new recruits to the Marvel Cinematic Universe feel. Marvel Studios is notorious for its rigorous contracts and the non-disclosure agreements that all project participants must sign.
After her work on Game of Thrones, Clarke is no stranger to keeping secrets, but even the Mother of Dragons doesn’t want to anger Kevin Feige and the powers that be by disclosing a potential Secret Invasion spoiler. As a result, it doesn’t appear that Clarke will reveal anything about the show or herself to viewers.
Despite Clarke’s concerns about ruining Secret Invasion, it’s evident that she’s thrilled about the prospect of joining the MCU as this unknown figure. Clarke would not say who she is playing, but speculation has circulated that she could be Abigail Brand, Spider-Woman, or even a Skrull. Because Clarke doesn’t want to upset Marvel, let’s hope the studio confirms her role soon so she won’t have to be as careful in the future.
