Drake reveals the release date of his album Certified Lover Boy
Drake has finally confirmed the September 3 release date for his upcoming album, after months of waiting. While it was first believed that Drake and Kanye West’s albums will be released on the same day after West’s Donda album was released on Sunday, August 29, Drake has now confirmed that Certified Lover Boy will be released this week.
Drake let his fans know the big news by releasing a stunning image of numerous pregnant women emojis holding their belly.
Drake’s fans have been awaiting the release of this album for quite some time, as it is his first since 2018’s Scorpion. Meanwhile, Drake released Dark Lane Demo Tapes and Scary Hours 2 EP in March, while fans have been waiting for a full-length album from the singer.

Due to health issues, the rapper had to postpone the release of Certified Lover Boy. Drake had previously remarked about the delay in the release of his record, saying, “I had planned to release my album this month, but my focus has been on recovery due to surgery and rehab. Although I’m grateful to be back on my feet and feeling great, CLB will not be released in January “, according to Billboard.
Drake’s fans and friends reacted positively to the news of his new album. Offset responded to the post with a series of fire emojis. “Kanye punching the air right now,” ItsBizkit said in response to Drake’s post, suggesting the singer’s current beef with Kanye West.
Drake’s close friend and Hollywood actor Michael B. Jordan liked the post as well.
