
Drake Announces Newest Project Called Dark Lane Demo Tapes
Drake has announced he’s dropping his newest project called Dark Lane Demo Tapes at midnight EST on Friday. At the same time, Drake confirmed his sixth studio album that will arrive this summer.
The rapper took to social media to make the announcement and shared,
“My brothers @oliverelkhatib @ovonoel put together alot of the songs people have been asking for (some leaks and some joints from SoundCloud and some new vibes) DARK LANE DEMO TAPES out everywhere at midnight…also my 6th STUDIO ALBUM DROPPING SUMMER 2020!!! Lucky number 6. soon fwd.”
Back in February, Drake hinted that he was working on a new project that would be shorter than Scorpion.
Drake’s last solo album was ‘Scorpion’ which arrived in 2018. The album had 25 tracks and saw JAY-Z and Ty Dolla $ign also have features in it.
Apart from this, Drake’s “Tootsie Slide” was recently released on TikTok and became an overnight sensation raking up millions of views in no time.
