Legendary actor Dilip Kumar is doing fine when suffering a severe backache, his actor-wife Saira Banu said on Friday. The actor has last seen at the Lilavati Hospital and fans were worried about the actors’ health.
“I’m so happy to tell all of you that Dilip Sahab is a lot better. He had a severe backache and we had to go and check it out at Lilavati Hospital. We checked it out and came back home. Everything is fine now with God’s grace and your best wishes. We are so grateful to you all,” Saira Banu said.
Dilip Kumar’s family friend Faisal Farooqui conjointly took to Twitter to tell his fans regarding the actor’s health condition. He tweeted “Dilip Saab is doing well. Please don’t spread the rumours”.
He is known as the Tragedy King of Bollywood. Dilip Kumar made his debut with Jwar Bhata in 1944. The 97-year-old has given unforgettable performances in films like Andaz, Aan, Madhumati, Devdas and Mughal-e-Azam. Dilip Kumar’s last film was Qila (1988). He was also awarded the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994. Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan Winner Dilip Sahab is also a 9 times Filmfare Best Actor Winner. Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar got married in 1966.
