Diane Keaton, a Hollywood icon, just spoke out about acting in Justin Bieber’s current music video for his track “Ghost”! The 75-year-old Oscar winner characterized the singer as “friendly, open, loose, and unique” in an interview with People magazine.
The actress gushed over the 27-year-old music sensation. “She remarked,” she explained “Justin treated everyone with respect, and his crew was perfect. I’ve never been in a music video, but I’ve directed one [for Belinda Carlisle’s 1987 single Heaven Is a Place on Earth]. It’s nothing like having a role in a film.”
‘Kindest’ Justin Bieber
If you haven’t seen it yet, Keaton is featured in the new Ghost music video, which was released earlier this year. In the music video, Diane appears to be Bieber’s grandmother as they deal with the loss of a loved one. Keaton and Bieber are seen dancing in a club, hanging out at a beach, and Bieber gets Keaton on an online dating app in the video.
Keaton took to social media before the video’s premiere on October 8th to express her excitement about working with Bieber.”AM I DREAMING??? WHAT AN HONOR IT WAS TO WORK WITH JUSTIN BIEBER AND HIS INCREDIBLE TEAM!!!” she captioned a teaser clip on social media.
Long before she starred in his video, the actress was a fan of the Baby singer. Keaton fangirled over the musician and even admitted to having a slight crush on him during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2015. “That isn’t possible; I haven’t seen anything like it. That is really stunning “After viewing Bieber’s Calvin Klein ad on The Ellen DeGeneres Show at the time, the iconic actress commented.
