There is some exciting news for Deepika Padukone lovers. The actress is preparing to work on a new Hollywood movie.
Padukone is reportedly scheduled to star in a romantic comedy for STXfilms and Temple Hill, and the actress will also produce it through her Ka productions label.
For the uninitiated, Temple Hill Productions’ Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen, who were behind major hits like the Twilight series, The Fault in Our Stars, and Love, Simon, may develop the project. According to reports, this film will be a large-scale cross-cultural love comedy starring Deepika Padukone. For Temple Hill, Isaac Klausner is in charge of the project.
Deepika’s Second Step To Hollywood
“There’s a reason Deepika is one of the biggest global stars to come from India,” Fogelson said in response to the news. She is a highly gifted woman with a magnetic personality, and her status as an international superstar continues to rise. While she has starred in several Eros International films, we are happy to be working on a romantic comedy with her and our Temple Hill friends. We believe that this project would allow us to tap into the spirit, voice, personalities, and dynamic settings of India and New York in ways that were so true and original in Crazy Rich Asians.”
“Ka Productions was founded with the goal of creating and distributing purposeful content with a worldwide audience. Deepika Padukone says, “I’m delighted to be working with STXfilms and Temple Hill Productions, who share Ka’s passion and creative vision and are looking forward to bringing meaningful and dynamic cross-cultural stories to the world.”
Deepika made her English-language feature debut in XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, in which she co-starred with Vin Diesel.
