WWE legend Goldberg is currently making the right noise on the internet. He defeated ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt for the WWE Universal Championship at WWE Super ShowDown on Thursday night in Saudi Arabia. Goldberg has now earned an opportunity to headline WrestleMania 36 this year. And guess what? WWE has an interesting storyline or you can call it as a ‘dream match’. Roman Reigns will be facing Goldberg at ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’. The grand event will take place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on April 5, 2020. In the last episode of WWE SmackDown, The Big Dog interrupted Goldberg and challenged him for a fight at WrestleMania 36.
Looks like the match is surely going to be historic and WWE Universe cannot wait to witness it. On SmackDown, Goldberg came out with a huge pop after defeating ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt at WWE Super ShowDown. However, Reigns stepped up and stole the thunder from the Universal Champion. The Big Dog came out to Goldberg and said, “I am next.” Well, the match is surely going to be epic and we hope that WWE has an interesting storyline for both the superstars.
One thing common between Roman Reigns and Goldberg is their finishing move – the spear. It would be really interesting to witness the match and see who would apply the finisher first. After ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt’s loss, he is all set to face John Cena at WrestleMania 36. With this interesting storyline, one thing is clear that the creative team of WWE will put in their best efforts to make WrestleMania 36 a historical pay-per-view. Other matches confirmed for the pay-per-view are Brock Lesnar (c) vs Drew McIntyre for WWE Championship and Rhea Ripley (c) vs Charlotte Flair for NXT Women’s Championship.
