Comedian DL Hughley Tested COVID-19 Positive After Fainting Onstage

Besides stand-up comedy, Hughley is an actor, author and radio and television host. He starred in Spike Lee’s 2000 concert film, “The Original Kings of Comedy,” alongside Steve Harvey, Bernie Mac and Cedric the Entertainer.

Hughley also produced and starred in “The Hughleys,” which aired on ABC and UPN from 1998 to 2002 and hosted a CNN talk show. He currently hosts the radio show “The D.L. Hughley Show,” which was syndicated in dozens of markets.

Incident

During a show at the Zanies comedy nightclub on Friday night, the comedian lost consciousness and fell on the stage, later on, he was hospitalized in Nashville and has been diagnosed with coronavirus and was released from the hospital.

The comedian’s representative told TMZ ” Hughley was suffering from exhaustion after all the week’s work and travel and was kept overnight at the hospital under doctors’ surveillance. He is awake and feeling better, and wishes to thank everyone for the very kind prayer and thoughts.”
