Chrissy Teigen has offered fans a look at her healing process after her endometriosis surgery. The model took to her social media to share with her fans footage of herself undergoing a procedure.
The disorder is caused by uterine tissue growing outside of the uterus. She posted a video of herself in a hospital bed initially as she was seen wearing her surgical gown. The cookbook author captioned a clip as she wrote, “Endometriosis surgery please endo this pain lol lol lol.”
Later in the day, the model shared a clip of herself lying down at home in front of the TV. She continued to seem lethargic as she updated fans saying she is okay and home. The Cravings author touched her stomach which had multiple bandages on it.
Chrissy shared that she is all numbed up and that she was watching Larry David, Curb Your Enthusiasm. She further posted footage of herself opening a box of donuts. The model told her fans how good those areas she took a big bite of a maple bar.
“I thought I would be … I usually am really good after,” the model continued about the difficult healing process. “This one’s a toughie.” She added that her whole stomach is numbed and will remain that way for a couple of days. The cookbook author shared how this makes it hard with every little cough.
The model said, “But it is truly still better than the contractions and the pain of endo.” Just a day before, she updated fans on her health battle after the pregnancy loss. “my little jack would have been born this week so I’m a bit off,” she wrote on Feb. 3. “I truly feel kicks in my belly, but it’s not phantom. I have surgery for endometriosis tomorrow…but the period feeling this month is exactly like baby kicks. sigh.”
Chrissy shared throwback pictures of her pregnancy reveal video, Wild. John Legend and Chrissy had announced their pregnancy news on their music video, Wild. The model shared behind-the-scenes snaps from the video. She was wearing a white dress in all the snaps.
The Cravings author wrote that the photos are from their shoot for Wild in Mexico. She shared that she was 10 weeks along and that she was “out of my mind happy”. The model said she knew the video will take a bit to get together so she thought it would be “cute” to share their news.
Chrissy decided to share the news with the world through the classic hand on belly trick at the end. She said she never knew what would happen in the next 10 weeks. The model shared that she will not be able to watch the video again without breaking apart. She hoped that her baby nows and feels her tears and knows how much they miss him.
The cookbook author wrote, “He would have been here any day now. If he were like Luna and Miles, I’d probably be holding him as we speak. I am so full of regret that I did not look at his face when he was born. I was so scared of seeing him in my nightmares that I forgot about seeing him in my dreams.”
Chrissy further added how she hurts every day from that remorse. She shared that his month is a rough reminder. She thought that the worse is over but her life and emotions aren’t on any sort of schedule. The model expressed her love and gratitude to fans who showed her love and support. She also noted that she believes energy and healing travel through the night sky and she feels.
