Chrissy Teigen Says Fans ‘Misinterpreted’ Tweet About New Hobby

Chrissy Teigen has defended her newfound hobby while fans did not think it was appropriate. The model revealed that she had taken up horseback riding.

She pursued the hobby because her therapist says she needs something that she could do for just her. The cookbook author reveals she has absolutely nothing at the moment.

Many of her fans did express their support as she copes with life’s hardships. She has been open about her therapy journey as she went to therapy after the loss of her third child. Meanwhile, other fans suggested that her post was not sympathetic to those who are struggling amid the coronavirus pandemic.

A user tweeted as they said a lot of people are unemployed and struggling to feed their families in the midst of a pandemic. The user added, “Maybe now isn’t a great time to say you ‘have nothing’ so you bought a horse to entertain yourself.” However, the model defended herself as she took to Twitter to respond,

She said a lot of them misinterpreted her tweet and she said it is her fault. The model responded saying she did not say she has ‘nothing’. She clarified she has nothing she does for herself. The model wrote, “I said I have nothing I do for just me. A convo with a therapist. A hobby. Cause I lost a baby. And I’m figuring myself out. And I didn’t buy a horse. But oh my god, what if I did?”

Another fan accused her as they said that he likes her generally but said that she is “poisoned by wealth and privilege”. She responded to the tweet saying that people are reading too much into the tweet. The model wrote, “Why are you guys reading into this so much? The boredom.”

“I’m proud of where this entire journey took my body and mind in other ways”

The same user had also tweeted that she should grieve and use all the tools at her disposal to do that. However, the user also wrote that she should understand why people might react badly to the original tweet even without missing a bit of it.

Chrissy responded to the tweet and said she does understand and asked them what does he want her to do. She wrote, “What do you want from me, an essay about me, thinking about you?” she asked. “It’s my Twitter. I’m talking about me?”

The model has been vocal about her grief after she and John Legend lost their baby back in September. They had named him Jack and she had shared a picture of herself with a small bump. She shared the pain she went through and how she will “never” be pregnant again.

“I’m proud of where this entire journey took my body and mind in other ways. I love being pregnant, so so much, and I’m sad I never will be again,” she wrote. “But I am lucky to have two amazing little ones who are transforming into big little people more and more every single day.”

“This is me and my body, just yesterday. Even though I’m no longer pregnant, every glance in the mirror reminds me of what could have been,” she added. “And I have no idea why I still have this bump, honestly. It’s frustrating.”
