Chrissy Teigen Fears ‘Death or Becoming Handsmaid’ If Donald Trump Wins Election

Chrissy Teigen has expressed her fears if Donald Trump wins the US presidential election of 2020. The model also predicted the future of America if Trump wins for the second time.

She had been on stage with her husband, John Legend as they campaigned for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. However, she expressed her fears after the polls closed and shared it. The cookbook author compared the future under Trump with The Handsmaid Tale. The award winning was by Margaret Atwood.

The series is about women who are portrayed as subservient to their male ‘masters’. They are used as a means to end and not having any say in how the country will be run. So far, Biden and Trump have been neck to neck as the results come across from the United States.

The model took to Twitter and addressed the people who opposed against him and also what Republicans would lose if Biden wins. She wrote, “It’s insane what *our* fears are if we lose, compared to their fears if Biden wins. like we will prob all die or be handmaids and they’re worried about bathroom safety.”

The Cravings author also shared the idea to help maintain safety precautions as the spread of coronavirus rapidly increases in the United States. She shared the idea of having a covid morning after pill. The model continued, “idea – covid morning after pill. Like when that random a** person you barely know gets too close and you’re like hello please get the f*** away. Also a vaccine yes.”

Chrissy And John Support Biden

Chrissy has been through a rather emotional and personal experience recently. She has been dealing with the loss of her baby as she lost him halfway through her pregnancy. The model had taken a month long break to take some time off from social media.

She returned to it just last week as she published her personal essay about her experience and the gratitude she feels towards a lot of her fans. Her fans have not failed to tell her how much her presence has been missed.

One fan wrote,  “Lord knows with everything you’ve gone through, you deserved time away. But I hope you know how much your humor and presence on here has been missed and how much your return is welcomed and appreciated!”

Chrissy responded to the tweet and described the fan as kind and appreciated it. Meanwhile, her husband, John Legend gave a powerful speech at the presidential rally supporting Joe Biden along with the family.

John called out several rappers who supported Donald Trump. He recently performed in support of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The singer made sure that his fellow musicians who have shown support for Trump know a thing or two.

The event was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as he appeared at the Biden-Harris campaign. The Wild singer said how some people mistake Trump’s meanness, bullying, and selfishness as his strength. He described it to be a kind of twisted masculinity.

John said, “Some see his greed and they mistake it for being good at business.” He further added how some of the fans’ former favorite rappers have been taken into these lies. The singer shared, “I think they even founded a new supergroup, it’s called the Sunken Place”. This was a reference to Jordan Peele’s movie Get Out.

“We Need A President We Can Trust”

The musician clarified that Trump’s platinum plan for Black folks is nothing but “fool’s gold”. He said one cannot trust anything Trump said. This was in reference to the proposal which was revealed by the Trump administration last month.

John said, “Ask the students of Trump University. Ask all of the contractors he stiffed. And ask people his charity was supposed to help before it was shut down for being a fraud. Ask all the Black and Brown Americans who are dying from this virus and losing their jobs under his watch.”

The singer said in a powerful statement that the president is not strong and that he is a coward. He continued talking about how his career in business and government has been failure after failure.

The Conversations In The Dark singer added, “We need a president we can trust. That’s the kind of president Joe Biden will be. And he won’t only reverse the damage of the last four years hand-in-hand with Senator Kamala Harris, they will build back a better economy and country than ever before.”

Lil Wayne was one of the rappers who pledged his support to Trump last week as he tweeted a photo from meeting him. The rapper shared how he had a “great” meeting with Trump. He wrote, “Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump@potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership.”
