Chrissy Teigen Defends Meghan Markle & Says Oprah Drama ‘Hits Close To Home’

Chrissy Teigen has also taken to social media to voice out her support for Meghan Markle. This is just days before her tell-all interview with Oprah.

The model shared that the focus surrounding Meghan and Prince Harry has ‘hit close to home’. She took to her Twitter as she expressed her support and asked critics to stop taking aim at the couple.

Chrissy’s tweet comes after Meghan has announced that she is ready to talk in the trailer for her highly-anticipated interview with Oprah. The tell-all interview will be premiering on Sunday. The cookbook author, however, shared her thoughts about the issue with her followers.

She wrote, “this meghan markle s*** is hitting too close to home for me. these people won’t stop until she miscarries. f****** stop it.” The model is without a doubt familiar with the scrutiny that her position in the lime light can give her. So, it was natural that Chrissy would feel sympathetic for Meghan.

The mother-of-two tweeted six months after the television personality and husband, John Legend lost their third child because of complications. Meghan is currently expecting her second child with Prince Harry. Even the Duchess had opened up about her tragic loss last summer as she miscarried.

However, this is not the first time Chrissy has expressed her support for Meghan on social media. Just last year, the model had clapped back at trolls on social media after Meghna revealed that she had lost her child.

In a now deleted post, Chrissy retweeted a troll that had taken aim at Meghan and responded saying: “Award for today’s absolute piece of sh** goes to Marco Giannangeli. Congratulations, piece of sh*t.”

Meghan Accused Of Bullying Royal Aides

In the last few days, the duke and duchess of Sussex have been roped up in reports of a probe which claims Meghan bullied royal aides. It is reported that the Palace is holding an investigation on the matter. But other than the media scrutiny, there are also a ton of supporters who have questioned the decision as they point out that there was no probe for Prince Andrew who was involved in sex trafficking.

Meghan and Harry’s highly-anticipated interview with Oprah will be premiering this Sunday on CBS. Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and Prince Harry is one of the most highly anticipated interviews. It is the thing that royal fans wanted throughout all these updates about the family.

The couple is rumored to be talking with the legend about everything. Be it about Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, or their marriage and all the discourse along the lines of why they chose to leave their royal stations.

Snippets of their exclusive interview have been released and it shows Meghan sitting down with Oprah alone. There is also a glimpse of Harry sitting down with her as Oprah states that there is no subject that is off-limits. The interview takes place socially distanced as Oprah asks some questions to which we all wanted answers.

“You’ve said some pretty shocking things here,” says Oprah to the pair as they look sternly back at the host. Oprah further asks some more deep questions as she asks Meghan if she was silent or silenced. There is no glimpse of the Duchess answering the question in the snippet.
