Chris Martin Sparks Speculation of Proposing to Dakota Johnson

Chris Martin seems to have hinted that he will propose Dakota Johnson. This comes after he gave her a ‘commitment ring’.

The couple has been dating on-and-off since 2018. The Sun has reported that the duo has become extremely close during the lockdown. It is also said that ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, is extremely supportive. Chris shares two daughters with her.

A source revealed that Chris and Dakota have had a great summer and they have gotten extremely close. It has cemented their relationship. The source further said they have had ups and downs. Chris worried that they wanted different things. However, Dakota seems super-happy and ready to commit.

The couple was first linked in 2017. Ever since they have been dating on-and-off. They confirmed their relationship in 2018. It was reported that they parted ways earlier in 2019. But it seemed something minor as they were spotted together after a month of breaking up.

Reportedly, Dakota called it quits because they were both at different stages of their lives. Especially when it came to wanting children. Gwyneth urged the couple to give it another go. They might have owed their reunion to her.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: ‘Gwyneth is the one who pushed them to do it.’ The insider further said that Gwyneth is happy if Chris is happy. She has only wanted the best for him.

Chris and Gwyneth were married from 2003 and separated in 2016. The actress is now married to Brad Falchuk. She has remained close friends with Chris since their divorce. Gwyneth, Chris, and their new partners go on double dates and even holidays with each other.

Dakota Addresses her Sexuality

Recently, an old interview of Dakota resurfaced sending fans into overdrive. In the old interview, she kind of said that she might be bisexual. The actress was trending on Twitter as her fans analyzed her interview. It was an interview with Vogue in 2017 where she revealed her sexuality.

The actress said that she has been fascinated in a phase of her life, where young women are coming to terms with their sexuality. She revealed that she is also going through something similar which is interesting to her.

Dakota addressed her previous relationship with Drowners singer Matthew Hitt. She dated him for almost two years. The actress said that she does not do casual relationships very well. She said her feelings get too intense and they hurt.

The actress then added: ‘Can we make things really juicy? Can we say that I’m taking this time to explore my bisexuality?’ Fans took to social media and revealed their surprise and excitement.

One of the users said the fact that Dakota is bisexual, completed her life, and gave purpose to it. Another said: ‘Hold up… what am I seeing about Dakota Johnson being bi?’ while another added: ‘I’m so here for the Dakota Johnson love’. 

The actress has still not commented on the online speculation. The social media craze comes after Deadline reported that Dakota has signed on to star in and serve as executive producer. It is a new TV series called Rodeo Queens for Amazon Studios.

The series will be a mockumentary-style display that will follow a group of hopeful rodeo queens ‘as they compete for the coveted crown’. There is no word what character Dakota will play in the series. It was picked up after numerous networks and streamers were competing for it.
