Chesapeake Shores Season 5 To Drop Weekly Netflix Episodes From August 16th

The last episode of Chesapeake Shores aired in 2019. Fans were eagerly waiting for the new season to hit Netflix and now the show has announced its coming to limited regions on Netflix.

The Season 5 of Chesapeake Shores will have 10 episodes that will drop every week.

Weekly Episodes

In the last season that aired more than year ago, the number of episodes were just 6. That’s an extra delight fir the fans!

Starting August 16th, Chesapeake Shores should run until October 18th if there are no mid-season pauses. In reality the show was set to release in 2020 but the pandemic pushed plans further.

Every Monday the new episodes will arrive in the Netflix regions that are playing the show. The episode would release on Netflix after it has aired on the Hallmark Channel in the United States.

What Are The Changes In Season 5?

The show is based on a novel by writer Sherryl Woods.

In season 5, one major change that the audience will witness is the departure of long time character Trace Riley (played by Jesse Metcalfe). Also, Robert Buckley has joined the cast so fans will experience a new character.

No Longer A Netflix Original

Netflix no longer labels Chesapeake Shores as an Original internationally. According to Unogs, at least 36 countries carry the show and we expect the majority will drop weekly episodes but it’s best to go into your app on August 16th to see.
