Cardi B Calls Out Kids Show, ‘Peppa Pig’ For Daughter’s Puddle Stomping

Cardi B has opened up about a certain show which is loved by her daughter Kulture. The rapper took to her social media handle to talk about the trouble she is facing with the popular kids’ show, Peppa Pig.

She said the show has caused her two-year-old to stomp in wet puddles constantly. The WAP singer wrote, “My baby been watching peppa pig and now every time she sees a wet puddle sh0e.1 wants to stomp on top of it. That s**t gets me so tight! F***in up her uggs……Deum you peppa pig …COUNT YOUR F***IN DAYS!”

The popular cartoon revolves around a family of British pigs going about their daily adventures and mishaps. After Cardi tweeted her grievance, many fans took to her comment section to share their opinion on the matter. Various parents found it relatable.

One fan asked the mother to look out for her hanging up the phone like a savage referring to the character of Peppa who is a bit sassy. The fan also shared a short clip from the show. While another fan posted the photo of the supposed pig’s height which was listed as seven-foot-one. The fan wrote, “Peppa big as hell. You may wanna rethink that.”

Cardi shares Kulture with her husband and rapper, Offset. The family had recently celebrated Christmas as they showered gifts to their daughter. The rapper was recently reported to have settles her lawsuit with ex-manager Klenord Shaft Raphael after he sued her for $10 million back in 2018.

The ex-manager had claimed that he discovered her and that his team of writers had crafted her breakout hit, Bodak Yellow. He claimed to be the one responsible for her success while saying he had a spot for her on Love & Hip Hop which gave her the first platform.

Cardi B Made History At 2020 American Music Awards

Cardi had countersued them for $15 million months later as the war kept going on. She tweeted yesterday that it feels good to be free. It was announced just yesterday that the parties have reached a settlement. The statement released on behalf of both the parties said, “Cardi and the KSR Group have agreeably parted ways and their dispute has been resolved.”

The rapper made history at the American Music Awards 2020 as she became the first artist in history to win Favourite Song in the Rap/Hip Hop category.

The rapper won the award for the first time back in 2018 for Bodak Yellow. However, she came back to win the award for her superhit number WAP with Megan Thee Stallion.

The singer was unable to attend the award show virtually or in-person to accept the award. She shared how grateful she is for her fans who voted for her and Megan. “Thank you guys soooo much. Me and Meg really appreciate all the love from fans, celebs, everybody that supported the song,” she wrote. “Also thanks for voting. Ugh if I would have known all this was going down today I would have rescheduled my dentist appointment. I’m so swollen.”

The rapper also had an audio message attached to her thank you tweet. She shared how she wishes she would get an award, she would not have gone to her dentist. Cardi said now she is talking crazy and thanked everyone and noted that she loves everyone.

“If People Didn’t Wanna Hear It, If They Were So Afraid To Hear It, It Wouldn’t Be Doing As Good.”

Back in 2018, when she received the award for Bodak Yellow, the rapper thanked her daughter Kulture. “I really want to thank my daughter. And not just because she’s my daughter,” she explained. “When I was pregnant, I was so influenced to be, like, ‘Yo, I got to do this, I got to show people wrong. I got to prove people wrong.’ Because they said I wasn’t going to make it after I had a baby.”

However, even if Cardi couldn’t make it to the award show, Megan did. The rapper was nominated for four additional awards. She performed her new song, Body at the event.

In an interview with The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the rapper slammed haters for criticizing her track. Many people have argued that the song is provocative.

Cardi said that the people that are bothered by the song are conservatives or really religious people. She explained that she grew up listening to songs like this and other people might think it is strange. The rapper says it is really normal for her to have these songs.

She added that she does not want her child to listen to the song and clarifies saying it is for adults. Previously this month, her song had hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart just days after its release.

“You wanna know something? It’s what people wanna hear,” Cardi said in her latest interview. “If people didn’t wanna hear it, if they were so afraid to hear it, it wouldn’t be doing as good.”
