Cara Delevingne and Halsey ‘Secretly Dating’ After Exes G-Eazy and Ashley Go Public
Cara Delevigne and Halsey are rumored to be secretly dating amid lockdown. This comes months after their exes G-Eazy and Ashley Benson began dating each other.
Cara split from her ex and rumored fiance, Ashley back in April this year after dating her for two years. Ashley then started dating rap singer G-Eazy, who went out with Halsey between 2017 and 2018.
However, Cara and Halsey have started speculating rumors of dating and finding comfort with each other. A source close to Cara revealed that she has been hooking up with Halsey over the last few weeks and they have been having a great time together.
The source adds, “It’s all very casual and just a bit of fun. Neither of them is particularly keen to be tied down and they’re fine about seeing other people.” Sources also revealed that the lockdown period has been a blessing for the two in Los Angeles. The source added that both of them are always working or traveling but because of the pandemic the duo has been stuck in LA. This gives them time to catch up with each other.
Sources have also revealed that the fact that their exes are together has been rather amusing. They said, “It’s actually just funny to them that their exes are together now, and there are no hard feelings.”
G-Eazy has been giving us hints about his failed relationship through his music. In a new song that was released in June, the singer threw shade at his ex. This came after Ashley and G-Eazy revealed publicly that they have started dating.
Cara Supports Ashley
The rapper sang about a “crazy a** ex” who “would go on TV” and “go on Ellen on me,” he also raps: “You dragged my name, I don’t say s**t, but let somebody say ‘G-Eazy,’ you go apes**t” in a song titled Not Enough.
While Halsey and G-Eazy go at it with each other, Cara has been nothing but supportive of Ashley moving on. When photos of G-Eazy and Ashley started doing the rounds, and fans were not happy. They dug into Ashley’s history and noticed she had been liking G-Eazy’s posts since January. And also that the duo had got together to work on a unique cover of Radiohead’s “Creep.”
Fans were not happy that she had already moved on. However, Cara came in support of Ashley. She did not feel like their past social media interactions were reason enough to speculate anything about her relationship with Ashley or Ashley’s new beau.
“It’s more important now than ever to spread love, not hate,” Delevingne wrote on her Instagram story. “To everyone hating on @ashleybenson please stop. You don’t know the truth, only her and I do and that’s exactly how it should be.”
Cara’s comments are likely the closest we’ll ever get to a confirmation of her breakup with Benson. However, they’re a sign that there’s no bad blood between the exes. We probably won’t get the full story of why they split, but if the former couple is okay with how that chapter in their lives ended.
