The singer not only showed off her tattoo but also explained why she got it and why it’s a tribute to Mother Nature in captions.
The singer disclosed the connection to botanist Robin Wall Kimmerer’s 2013 nonfiction book Braiding Sweetgrass is a close-up shot of her new tattoo on the back of her neck on Sunday.

Cabello said why the book motivated her to pay tribute to mother nature by sharing a snapshot of her tattoo. She penned, “My life was changed by this book about Indigenous wisdom and herbs. I knew after reading it that I’d never look at the earth and all of its people in the same way again. It taught me about reciprocity, about Mother Nature’s gift and wisdom, and about how healing the Earth heals us.”
