‘Butter’ by BTS wins Variety’s Record Of The Year award for 2021
According to Variety, BTS’ ‘Butter’ will receive the Record of the Year award in 2021, and the group has planned a special video for the event.
The publication’s ‘Hitmakers’ celebration will take place on December 4 at noon local time. ‘My Universe,’ a collaboration between Coldplay and BTS, has also gone silver in the UK!
Variety’s Record Of The Year award
‘My Universe’ has been certified silver by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). ‘Butter,’ ‘DNA,’ and ‘Fake Love,’ all by BTS, have been certified silver in the United Kingdom.
On November 21, BTS and Coldplay will perform ‘My Universe’ for the first time in person at the 2021 American Music Awards. BTS recently flew to Los Angeles for a series of performances and appearances in the coming weeks, including their first in-person concert, ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA,’ which will take place on November 27-28 and December 1-2 in Los Angeles.
This amazing announcement comes two years after the end of the ‘2019 BTS WORLD TOUR LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF THE FINAL’ in Seoul.
Meanwhile, BTS members appear to be having a great time in Los Angeles. Harry Styles’ ‘Love On’ concert was attended by the superstar group stationed in Los Angeles! J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook uploaded photos from the concert with Lizzo, which took place at The Forum in Los Angeles. During the show, the four members also uploaded a video of themselves singing along to ‘Falling.’ Jungkook just released a cover of this song on BTS’s YouTube channel and blog, for those uninformed.
Lizzo returned the love by retweeting BTS’s message and sharing photos of herself with Jimin and V with the hashtag ‘VMINZZO.’ Lizzo previously wore a ‘VMIN’ shirt on BBC Radio 1’s ‘Live Lounge’ when she sang a cover of BTS’ ‘Butter.’ November looks to be BTS’ month, and we’re looking forward to it!
