BTS Offers Another Sweet Taste of ‘Butter’ in 2 New Teasers
The K-Pop group’s label just gave fans a treat as they revealed two new teasers for BTS’ upcoming English language single.
BTS’ new single is called Butter and the first concept of the clip plays off the title of the highly antiicipated song. The teaser shows a closeup of a pat of heart-shaped butter in the middle of a piece of toast. It continues on to Jungkook who looks into the viewer and points towards us.
The teaser then moves on to show him spreading butter on the toast over a loop of music. Meanwhile, in the second teaser, fans will hear the same loop of music. It further showcases a blond RM looking into the frame as he taps his foot to the beat. He moves on to pose cooly as he gazed into the camera and shoots confetti.
Before the release of the two trailers, BTS had shared a 60 minute video which featured an animated pat of butter melting on a yellow background. The video was released on April 26 and has already garnered nearly 15 million views.
Big Hit had revealed before the arrival of Butter on April 28 that the group would be teasing the song with concept clips and photos. The highly anticipated single would premiere on May 21st. Up until then, BTS will keep teasing fans as they long to hear the music. During a press release, the group described Butter as “a dance-pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS.”
The song will mark as their second English-language tune. Unless you have been living under a rock, you would know that BTS’ first all English song was Dynamite. It topped the charts of Billboard Hot 100.
On Thursday (April 29), the Billboard Music Awards announced that BTS is a finalist in four categories for the 2021 event: top duo/group, top song sales artist, top social artist, and top-selling song.
