BTS, Lisa, NCT 127, and others rule The Billboard Hot Trending Songs Chart
The Billboard Hot Trending Song Chart for this week was released on October 27. It was first released in October of this year. The group’s single ‘My Universe,’ a collaboration with Coldplay, came in at number four, while ‘Butter,’ came in at number seven. BTS’ SUGA’s production, ‘You,’ featuring Japanese artist OMI, came in at No.17.
BLACKPINK’s Lisa, who recently made her solo debut, took the No. 2 and No. 3 slots, respectively, with her songs ‘MONEY‘ and ‘LALISA.’
ENHYPEN’s fresh return and lead single ‘Tamed-Dashed’ charted at No. 5, while aespa’s ‘Savage rankaf’ charted at No. 6.
NCT 127’s ‘Sticker’ landed at No. 9, while Stray Kids’ ‘Thunderous’ is still gaining traction alongside fresh releases, landing them at No. 10.
Have A Look At the Bollboard Chart
The Billboard Hot Trending Song Chart is a new addition to Billboard’s roster of current music chartings, which have been released for decades and have become one of the many indicators of music’s global appeal. Billboard, in cooperation with Twitter, will give a weekly update on the most talked-about music on the platform, as a fresh method to signpost to what’s popular.
The real-time ranking is important since Twitter is a site where a lot of music talk happens, and Billboard will now utilize that data to create a chart based on the music world’s chatter.
Except for four positions, the top 20 saw a massive surge of K-pop discourse, with K-pop artists and their collaborations occupying the remaining slots.
100 Million Spotify Streams of Lisa’s MONEY
BLACKPINK Lisa’s song ‘MONEY,’ which reached 100 million Spotify streams in 37 days, holds the record for the fastest solo song to do so.
Lisa has already risen to the top of the list of fastest solo tracks to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify, indicating her huge popularity. This year, Lisa and her bandmate Ros are the only female K-pop musicians with songs that have received over 100 million Spotify streams. Both of their tracks have achieved this feat, which is quite remarkable.
‘LALISA’ now holds the world record for the fastest solo artist music video to gain 100 million views in less than 48 hours, as well as the fastest female K-pop soloist music video to reach 200 million views in less than 48 hours (13 days and 14 hours). The music video for ‘LALISA’ holds the world record for the most views in the first 24 hours by a solo artist. It has received a remarkable 73.6 million views.
