Britney Spears’ Long Time Manager Larry Rudolph Submits Resignation After 25 Years

The man who has been Britney Spears’ manager and career guide for over the last 25 years has decided to step down as the star’s manager. 

Larry Rudolph, who have helped out Britney to secure her first record deal now says that, “the star’s intention to retire from music” forces him to step down.

Controversial Conservatorship

The resignation succeeds two weeks since Britney Spears said the court in Los Angeles that she has been forced to do tasks and shows against her will.

He announced his intention to resign in a letter to the celebrity’s father, Jamie Spears, and a fellow conservator, Jodie Montgomery. 

What Did Britney’s Manager Say?

“It has been over two and-a-half years since Britney and I last communicated, at which time she informed me she wanted to take an indefinite work hiatus,” he wrote.

“I found out this morning that Britney spears has announced that she is officially retired. As a manager of Britney Spears, I believe that it is in the best interest of both of us that I leave the team because my services are no longer needed.” 

“I just want to wish her all the health and happiness of the world, and I shall be with her if she ever needs me, just as it always has been,” he concluded.

He is Britney Spears’ manager and supervisor for the majority of her career now. It began when Britney Spears’ mother, Lynne Spears, asked him for his opinion on Britney Spears’ voice as a singer. 

At that time, he was a lawyer in the music industry on behalf of clients including the Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, and Jessica Simpson. However, he was so impressed by the audition of Britney Spears and took the then 15-year-old artist under his wing and brought her to record labels in New York city and eventually secured her debut contract.

He led the teenager to world-wide fame with hits such as ..Baby One More Time, Ooops! I Did It Again and Toxic.
