Britney Spears has announced her engagement to her boyfriend, Sam Asghari with a social media post. She revealed her ring which had the word “lioness” engraved on it.

The pop star shared that she cannot believe it as she posted a video where she winks and kisses Sam. She says yes when asked if she likes it and Sam posted a picture on social media as well. Britney was showing off her ring to the camera.

This comes after Britney’s father filed to end her conservatorship that has controlled her life and money for 13 years. Sam’s manager confirmed that the couple are engaged as they made their relationship official. The ring is engraved inside the band with “lioness” because that is his nickname for her.

The master jeweller shared, “Their journey together has touched people around the world and we’re so excited to be a part of their forever … We are thrilled to congratulate Britney and Sam on their recent engagement.” As soon as this was announced, naturally, everyone started talking about it.

A user tweeted that they are pretty sure they are not going to end her conservatorship. Another user shared that when her conservatorship is ending this happened and hoped that everything goes well for her. However, the user said the timing makes them think twice as another user complimented Sam.
