Bollywood Legend Dilip Kumar Rushed To Hospital After Complaining About Breathlessness

Veteran Bollywood legend Dilip Kumar was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar, Mumbai after complaining of poor breathing on Sunday morning.

Saira Banu confirmed this and said: “He was unwell, had respiratory problems and was admitted to a non-Covid hospital in Khar today. Blood tests and other necessary tests will be conducted today to find out why this happened.” As of now, doctors are constantly monitoring Dilip Kumar.

Admitted To Non-COVID Hospital

An official tweet says: “Dilip Sahab was admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for examination and diagnosis. He had severe respiratory episodes. A team of medical staff led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is assisting him.Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe.”

Dilip Kumar has not met anyone since the outbreak of Covid-19.

Saira Banu had previously said that Mr Dilip’s immune system was low so he avoided contact with outsiders.

Ancestral Home In Peshawar

The couple was delighted when the Pakistani government announced the news that the actor’s ancestral home will become a museum.

Saira Banu had said, “I am glad that it has been donated to the archeology department so that there is a proper museum.”

She had also added, “The countless admirers of Dilip Saheb will be able to visit the museum and enjoy the old world ambience of the lovely house where India’s first superstar lived in his formative years.”

She also mentions that, “I have shared his pride and joy when I visited this place some years ago. He was so moved when he saw the house where he lived his beautiful childhood and was comfortable and safe in a big, holy family. I wish the provincial government succeeds in their efforts and sincerely hope that this is a dream and finally it has come to be true. “

Regular Checkups

The actor was admitted to the same hospital last month for regular medical check-ups.

Kumar, who first appeared with ‘Jwar Bhata’ in 1944, has appeared in numerous feature films in his 50-year career, including ‘Kohinoor’, ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, ‘Devdas’,’ Naya Daur ‘,’ Ram Aur Shyam ‘, among others.

He last appeared on the big screen in the film named ‘Qila’ in 1998.
