BLACKPINK’s Lisa tops the global YT rankings and enters the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs Top 40

Lisa is in a class by herself. With a stunning solo debut, the BLACKPINK maknae has defied all obstacles and soared above all expectations. Her mega hit song ‘MONEY has ranked in the Top 40 of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list, up from 47 last time. This is a first for her and the rest of the K-pop industry.

Lisa has also added to her list of accomplishments by charting three songs in the most-watched music videos of the week. Three of Lisa’s tracks appeared on the global list for the track week of October 22 to October 28 according to YouTube. With ‘SG,’ she took the top place, with 46 million views in the previous week. Lisa collaborated on the song alongside DJ Snake, Megan Thee Stallion, and Ozuna. ‘MONEY,’ her own b-side, came in second with a whopping 30 million views in just the tracking week. Finally, her solo debut title track, ‘LALISA,’ came in at No. 7 with over 16 million views in just one week.

Lisa has been outperforming her previous releases and ranking higher than before, giving her the year’s most successful K-pop solo debut. These figures show that, while the Thai beauty glides past most previous debuts with ease, class, sass, and pomp, as one would expect from any BLACKPINK member, she does it with class, sass, and pomp.

Lisa Makes Her Second Start On The Billboard Hot 100 Chart

Lisa from BLACKPINK has charted her second track on Billboard’s Hot 100! Billboard stated on November 1 that ‘MONEY,’ a b-side from her solo debut album ‘LALISA,’ has debuted at number 90 on the Hot 100 for the week ending November 6. Lisa is the second female K-pop soloist to achieve multiple songs on the Hot 100 chart.

After CL, she was the first K-pop female solo artist to achieve this incredible feat with PSY’s ‘Lifted’ and ‘DADDY.’ A month after its debut, ‘MONEY’ has resurfaced in the music charts, rising to number one on the Official Singles Chart in the United Kingdom and becoming the fastest song by any K-pop solo artist to reach 100 million Spotify streams! With ‘LALISA,’ the lead single from her single album of the same name, Lisa debuted at number 84 on Billboard’s Hot 100, a weekly ranking of the most popular singles in the United States. After Rosé’s ‘On the Ground’ earlier in the year, she became the second member of BLACKPINK to have a solo entry on the Hot 100.
