Billie Eilish Opens Up About Keeping Her Love Life Closed Off From the Public

Billie Eilish opens up about her the reason why she prefers to keep her love life closed off. In an interview with Capital Breakfast with host Roman Kemp this week, the singer says that keeping her love life private is the best call.

The ‘My Future‘ singer says she has wanted to keep her relationship private. She reveals that she has had relationships and kept it private. Billie says she regrets even the little bit that she revealed about her relationships. The singer has managed to successfully keep her love life private and stay away from the media scrutiny that comes with it.

The singer said, “I think about it sometimes. I think about the people that have made their relationships OD public, and then they break up, and it’s like, ‘What if it goes bad?'” She also makes it clear that she is not interested in knowing people’s opinions when it comes to her love life.

Billie made her debut with her brother and collaborator Phineas on NPR’s Tiny Desk concert series. It is a meticulously re-created set that mirrored the show’s cluttered office vibe. The Bad Guy singer says everybody has their opinion when the relationship is public.

However, she has opened up previously about having her heartbroken. She told GQ in 2019 that people have done terrible things to her. Billie said, “The crazy sh*t I have gone through. I have never felt powerful in a relationship. However, I did once and, guess what, I took advantage of that person’s kindness. I wasn’t used to it.”

Billie has previously tried to raise awareness about body shaming explaining how she never wanted people to judge her. She revealed to GQ that she has never felt desired. The singer said none of her boyfriends have ever made her feel desired and that it is a big thing in her life.

“So I dress the way I dress as I don’t like to think of you guys. But that doesn’t mean that I won’t wake up one day and decide to wear a tank top, which I have done before,” she added.

Billie has opened up about how she struggled with the way she looked in the past. She said her confidence has been knocked off because of her former relationships. “I have never felt powerful in a relationship,” she continued.

The singer added that she sometimes dresses like a boy and sometimes like a swaggy girl. She said she feels trapped in her persona that she has created because she feels people do not see her as a woman. With her lime green and black hair and loose-fitting, casual ensembles, Billie has carved out a signature look. That ensemble gets her recognized wherever she goes.

No matter how she looks or dresses, we think all her past boyfriends have a lot of problems for making feel Billie the way she does. The singer is the youngest person and first woman to win the four main Grammy categories among other accolades.
