Bachelor In Paradise: Wells Adams & Sarah Hyland Waited Three Months To Be Intimate

Sarah Hyland claimed that she and her fiance Wells Adams from Bachelor In Paradise waited three months before becoming intimate. The couple met each other on social media back in 2017 after exchanging messages on Twitter.

Wells travelled out to meet the Modern Family star a few months later and the two fell in love. The BIP alum then officially moved to Los Angeles and into Sarah’s home after less than a year of dating. The couple then headed out on a romantic beach retreat after living together for a year.

This is when Wells proposed to Sarah and she, of course, said yes. The couple had planned to marry in the summer of 2020 but the COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to their preparations. They aren’t planning a wedding but were intended to get married in 2021 after COVID-19. However, they were unable to make those arrangements work and chosen to reschedule their wedding to 2022.

Sarah stated in a video for her EllenTube series Lady Parts; that she and Wells had to wait three months before they could be intimate with each other.”My fiancé and I, we couldn’t have sex for three months before we actually did, just because medically for me, I wasn’t allowed to,” Sarah revealed in the new video on Thursday.

Waiting to become intimate is “sexy” as per her guest Whitney Cummings to which the actress responded, “It was this long waiting game that was really, really sexy.” Sarah has kidney dysplasia which is why the couple had to wait so long. She was diagnosed with the condition as a child and has had several procedures since then, including two kidney transplants.

Sarah & Wells’ Marriage in 2022

Edward, her father, was able to give one of his kidneys to her in 2012. After the transplant failed after a few years, Sarah’s younger brother Ian donated his kidney to her for the second time in 2017. Sarah has been doing considerably better following her second kidney transplant, thanks to her brother, even though she still has kidney problems.

Throughout her battle with renal disease, even her fiancé Wells has been supportive. The couple has been focusing on the forthcoming nuptials to help keep her mind off the pain. Wells and Sarah are already arranging their third wedding, which they both hope will be a big event.

Despite the fact that Sarah’s kidney condition prevented her and Wells from having sex sooner than planned, the waiting game appeared to work. The couple is now engaged and planning to marry next year. Hopefully, the bartender from Bachelor in Paradise and the actress won’t have to wait too long to marry.
