Anushka Sharma pens down this special note on her journey of becoming a producer

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is a successful producer now having produced projects like Pari, Paatal Lok and Bulbbul!

Actress Anushka Sharma is currently riding high on the success of her two web series releases. The actress’ latest film Bulbbul has got appreciation from fans and critics. She has now penned down a special note talking about her journey of becoming a producer.

Sharing a photo collage, she wrote, “The story of Bulbbul is the story of a girl’s journey from innocence to strength and resilience… And it’s a story I’m all too familiar with. Getting to be a part of the modelling industry at the young age of 15 had a lasting impression on me. My dad was a very big influence, always pushing me to work harder and sharing positive affirmations about life and growth.”

She went on to talked about understanding how the industry works and starting her production house when she was just 25. She wanted to tell the best stories and work with newer faces.

“I chose to dive into work when I was a teenager and I’ve been growing ever since. The early start has taught me a lot. And I choose to apply that wisdom in my personal and professional life every day,” she added.

Anushka’s production ventures include projects like NH10, Phillauri and Pari where she herself was the lead.  Her other projects have been Paatal Lok and Bulbbul, both recent OTT releases.

Paatal Lok was released last month as a series on Amazon Prime. The show had every soon created a lot of buzz. The release was followed by Bulbbul – a horror film which released on Netflix. This one too has created an ample amount of buzz. People have been lauding Anushka for presenting such a female-character driven story in such a visually appealing way.
