Bulbbul Trailer: Anushka Sharma presents yet another scary drama

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma’s next production venture Bulbbul is a scary drama for the OTT platform Netflix!  

Actress Anushka Sharma has not been able to entertain us by being on the screens in this lockdown. But she is surely entertaining us a lot with her production ventures. A few weeks back, she had surprised everyone with teaser of her next Netflix original Bulbbul. Now she has presented the trailer of the film.

As expected from the teaser, Bubbul is a scary drama narrating a spine-chilling story. Anushka shared the trailer on social media as she wrote, “#Bulbbul – Official Trailer What if our childhood bedtime stories came true? #Bulbbul, coming soon only on @Netflix_In.”

Going by Netflix’s description of Bulbbul, “This mystery is an Indian fable set in 20th century Bengal. The film traverses the journey of a young girl, Bulbbul from innocence to strength, as the legend of a chudail casts a looming shadow over her [Bulbbul’s] world.”

The horror film has been directed by Anvita Dutt. The film stars Tripti Dimri, Avinash Tiwary, Rahul Bose, Paoli Dam and Parambrata Chattopadhyay in pivotal roles. It will release on Netlflix on June 24.

Anushka had recently talked about her production ventures, as she had told PTI, “We have had a few things which have been greenlit already. So we will start the process of writing for those. Our slate is quite full at Clean Slate and I think it’s a great time for Karnesh and me at the moment. Over the past six years, this is what we’ve been working towards. And we’re very happy that we will be able to continue our vision for the company.”

It was earlier this year when the actress-producer had impressed everyone with her web show Paatal Lok.
