‘Anek,’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana, will be released on March 31, 2022
The film ‘Anek,’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana and directed by Anubhav Sinha, has been set for a March 31, 2022 release.
According to Ayushmann, “An actor only comes across a storyline once in a while that pushes him out of his comfort zone. While I’ve always supported novel stories, ‘Anek’ challenged me to give it my all. It’s the kind of script that makes you want to give it everything you’ve got. I’m incredibly thrilled that we were able to take a picture like this, and even luckier that I was given the opportunity to star in it.”
‘Anek,’ according to Ayushmann, is the kind of new-age cinema he believes in. He continued, ” “I am grateful to Anubhav Sir for selecting me to tell this unique experience, and to Bhushan Sir for providing the necessary support along our journey. It gives me great joy to see our passion project reach out to the rest of the world.”

The film is said to be a polished spy thriller set in Northeast India’s geopolitical background.
“It was a difficult picture to write and a difficult one to make,” Sinha remarked of the release date. We shot it in tough terrain, but what makes it unique is how satisfying the takeaway was. It was great to work with Ayushmann again, who brought the story to life with his portrayal of Joshua. Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Mediaworks collaborated on ‘Anek.’
