Amy & Sheldon Selfie Shared by Big Bang Theory Star

Mayim Bialik shares a throwback photo of herself and Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon Cooper, during a break from filming The Big Bang Theory. In the hit CBS drama, she played Amy Farrah Fowler. While she, like Melissa Rauch, was a late addition to the cast, she played an important role in the series, particularly in Sheldon’s overall story, which ended with their earning the Nobel Prize in Physics.

Penny, played by Kaley Cuoco, was the only female character on The Big Bang Theory when it first aired in 2007. All of that changed in season 4, when CBS chose to give Sheldon and Howard (Simon Helberg) their own love interests. Amy and Bernie became constants from there till the series ended in 2019.

Despite the fact that the sitcom’s ratings were still good and the crew was extremely popular, Parsons chose to leave in order to pursue other ventures. Rather than figuring out a method to write him out, which would have required involving Bialik because they’re married, everyone agreed to end it all together.

Here’s The Post

Bialik reflects on her time on The Big Bang Theory with a retro mirror selfie with Parsons, more than two years after the show ended. The actress posted the shot to Instagram with no other information about when it was taken. However, because her co-star isn’t wearing his characteristic two-layered shirt, this photo was most likely taken during rehearsals.

Take a look at the image below:

Given the location of the aforementioned set shot, it’s likely that it was taken during the filming of Amy and Sheldon’s wedding at the conclusion of season 11 of The Big Bang Theory. With their Nobel-winning work on Super Asymmetry, they made a breakthrough.

Meanwhile, the event was officiated by Mark Hamill. This indicates that the photo was taken three years ago. Despite the conclusion of the comedy, Parsons and Bialik are collaborating on a new film called Call Me Kat, which the former is producing and the latter is starring in.
