Alizeh Shah Trends #1 On Twitter; Trolled For Wearing A Sleeveless Body Suit In Her Debut Single

Actor Alizeh Shah announced her debut venture for a single song titled Badnamiyan alongside well-known musician Sahir Ali Bagga. It was supposed to be a perfect Eid treat for her fans.

The video was released on Saturday and has since crossed half a million views on YouTube.

It features Alizeh in a new Gen-Z stunning avatar as she grooves and lends her vocals to drums, guitar and flutes. She rocks the stage in a black bodysuit and a brown beaded gown with wet, slicked back hair.

Backlash From The Audience

But things did-not go quite as planned. The song which was meant to electrify the audience has backfired on Alizeh herself. Her bold look in a sleeveless bodysuit has been the target of the fans making her trend number ome on Twitter Pakistan.

Fans were quick to judge the star by her appearance in the song. Her outfit was something that is not so generally accepted in the Lollywood industry.

One user wrote: In search of fame, she said Tata Bye Bye to shame.

Alizeh Labelled As ‘John Cena’

Others did not spare the opportunity to body shame Alizeh Shah and called her the next ‘John Cena’. A user called Alizeh the future WWE Champion.

‘She lost her respect in lust of money’, said another.

Ray Of Positivity

While Alizeh faced backlash from the audience for her outfit, there were others who defended the actor’s choice. Some fans said it’s her choice and decision to wear whatever she likes to.

Others emphasized the need to not judge someone by their external appearance by juxtaposing the age-old maxim of ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover’.

Badnamiyan has been composed by Sahir himself, written by Imran Raza and its music rendered by Mujtaba Ali Choni. Sahir has composed it in collaboration with the SAB Band.

Alizeh is starring in HUM TV’s Tanaa Banaaopposite Daniyal Zafar. She is known for her performances in the hit drama serials Ehd-e-Wafa, Mera Dil, Mera Dushman and Ishq Tamasha.
